Devon McGhee

Coastal Management Specialist

I'm currently working as a Coastal Management Specialist with Michael Baker International’s Coastal Science and Engineering Practice and a Coastal Communication Specialist with FEMA’s Community Engagement and Risk Communication Program. I use my technical expertise and working knowledge of relevant science, policy, and planning to enable coastal flood resilience through natural hazards and climate change preparedness, mitigation, and adaptation. Prior to joining Michael Baker, I completed my Master’s in Coastal Environmental Management at Duke University where I studied the ability of post-disaster buyout programs to reduce vulnerability to coastal flooding.
