Senior Consultant

My career spans over six countries and twenty-five years of research, technical support and policy-making. I have worked in Peru, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Poland, and the UK.

I have also been engaged in short-term projects in South Africa, The Netherlands and Canada. My experience has mainly been built from practice and onsite assignments.

My professional career embraces; Urban & Transport Planning, Housing Development, and Sustainable Development.

I have acquired experience by working within Humanitarian Aid and Urban Development under critical circumstances such as; Re-Construction of affected settlements, in the aftermath of a disaster, Livelihood Restoration Programs, Involuntary Re-Settlement, and Poverty alleviation. My experience has been built by; Research, Consultancy and Policy-Making.

I have also been engaged in humanitarian aid, as a volunteer at HOPE-Worldwide, for more than thirty years.

In addition to theoretical knowledge acquired through graduate studies (Master and Doctoral Programs) and technical abilities developed by consultancy assignments, I have led multidisciplinary teams and engaged a variety of stakeholders, including local communities, to build agreements and partnerships by performing as Director, Deputy Director and Project Coordinator, especially within the last five years.

I am aware of the importance of connecting science-based evidences with implementation of solutions and decision-making processes. I am particularly interested in joining an organization to advocate for sustainable development, especially to engage a variety of stakeholders including local communities to reach agreements, build partnerships and mobilize resources.
