Presenters will share leading practices, innovations and lessons learned based on RAC projects underway that are informing adaptation decisions related to water planning and management. The webinar will explore questions including "What is unique about considering climate change adaptation in water-related decisions?", "What approaches, tools and lessons learned could be transferred to other locations?", and "Based on your results to date, were there any surprises, or unexpected outcomes that could inform planning of adaptation measures in other regions?"

Presentations will include "Storm water considerations in land-use planning"  by Caroline Larrivée of Ouranos, “From Rain to Resource” workshop and homeowner guidebook for the Okanagan by Anna Warwick-Sears and Kellie Garcia of the Okanagan Basin Water Board, and Lot-level and homeowner involvement in urban flood risk reduction by Dan Sandink of the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction.
