Ocean Sciences Meeting 2024
Every two years, the Ocean Sciences Meeting (OSM) unifies the oceans community to share findings, connect scientists from around the world, and advance the impact of science.
The OSM is the flagship conference for the ocean sciences and the larger ocean-connected community. The 2024 meeting will be held in New Orleans 18-23 February 2024. We welcome a diverse community of scientists, students, journalists, policymakers, educators and organizations who are working toward a world where our global collaborations and partnerships can carry us into a sustainable future. The Ocean Sciences Meeting 2024 is co-sponsored by the American Geophysical Union, the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO), and The Oceanography Society (TOS).
Ocean Sciences Meeting 2024 will be held in New Orleans and online everywhere 18-23 February 2024. Program information will be available in early 2023. The Ocean Sciences Meeting is an Endorsed Decade Action program with the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
Most sessions will be held in person and will not support virtual presentations, although oral sessions will be recorded for online viewing. A small group of sessions, including one general contributions session from each topic area, is open for only virtual presenters to submit to, and one block of online programming will be scheduled on Wednesday, 21 February 2024.
