ICF Jones & Stokes is expanding our climate change and air quality practice and we are looking for outstanding applicants at all levels of professional development.
We are seeking staff from entry-level college graduates to senior-level project managers to complement and expand our climate change practice group. Individuals with a strong background in conventional air quality fields such as ozone/PM analysis and abatement are strongly encouraged to apply given the similarity of the fields. Strong writing and communication skills are essential for all open positions. Successful candidates will possess the judgment and ability to contribute to project/practice areas including the research, analysis, implementation, and policy development of:
- greenhouse gas emission inventories and mitigation measures;
- climate change adaptation assessment measures (especially as they relate to water resources and water quality);
- methodologies to determine climate change impacts on ecological resources (terrestrial and aquatic species, flora and their varied habitats);
- methodologies to explore the nexus between transportation planning, land use, sustainability and planning, and climate change; and
- renewable energy and energy conservation measures.
Entry and Mid-Level Level Positions:
College graduates with conferred degrees in environmental related programs with strong technical, organizational, and writing skills are encouraged to apply. Entry-level employees will enjoy considerable on the job training to develop the professional skills required to address climate change as part of the regulatory process.
Senior Positions:
Senior level staff should have 5 - 10 years experience in project management and CEQA/NEPA. Candidates with exceptional technical skills (i.e., advanced degrees or government service in climate change related fi elds) will also be considered. Candidates will be responsible for business development, management, and growth in the area of climate change impacts and cross-selling and developing new practice opportunities. Candidates will manage projects to a high standard of client satisfaction, technical quality, and profitability.
