PostDoc Scholarship in Economics of Climate Change Adaptation
The Department of Environmental Science, Aarhus University, Denmark is offering a 2-year Postdoctoral research position as part of NORD-STAR within the research area: Modelling land use choice responses to climate change and climate change policy.
The research project is part of NORD-STAR. NORD-STAR focuses on research into the impacts in the Nordic region of alternative ways of adapting to the inevitable impacts of climate change and the consequences of climate policy.
Specifically, this research project focuses on modelling land use choice responses to climate change and climate change policy. The project has a rural landscape focus and investigates trade-offs and synergies between responses to climate change and climate change policy. The PostDoc will work with Prof. Termansen in the Environmental Social Science section. Furthermore, the PostDoc will collaborate closely with a PhD-student (scholarship is currently being advertised) working at the Department of Economics, University of Iceland. There will be ample opportunities to develop further collaborations within the NORD-STAR centre of excellence.
