Katie Dolan is writing a climate change book while pursuing a Masters in English Literature from Middlebury College. She is Vice Chair of the Island Press board and serves on the board of the Wildlife Conservation Society. Katie retired from a long career in senior non-profit management, most recently working for The Nature Conservancy as Executive Director of its Eastern New York Chapter and its Director of Trustee Relations. Katie previously was Executive Director of St Joseph’s Hospital, a 200 bed facility, and served as an administrator for the Health and Hospitals Corporation. She holds a Masters in environmental studies from Yale’s School of Forestry and an M.B.A from Tuck School. Katie has lived in Larchmont with her husband for the past 20 years, raising two sons and numerous dogs. She is a scuba diver, skier, and triathlete and completed the Hawaii Ironman triathlon.
