Mason Bowles is a wetland scientist and senior ecologist responsible with over thirty years experience forging innovative solutions and incorporating best available science to conserve, restore and reestablish wetlands and aquatic ecosystems. He is a seasoned capital project manager overseeing design, permitting, contracting and construction of large complex wetland and river restoration projects. He is a Research Associate with the University of Washington’s Green Futures Research and Design Lab, developing innovative approaches restoring urban waterways, including both the Duwamish Floating Wetlands and Sweetgrass Restoration projects.
