Melilnda Koslow briefly discussed the distinction between mitigation and adaptation, giving examples of each. She then presents approaches to talking about adaption and seven principles for adaptation in the Great Lakes region. Finally, she presents examples of adaptation actions and relevant initiatives in the region.
