Alaska Center for Climate Assessment and Policy

Overview

The mission of the Alaska Center for Climate Assessment and Policy (ACCAP) is to assess the socio-economic and biophysical impacts of climate variability in Alaska, make this information available to local and regional decision-makers, and improve the ability of Alaskans to adapt to a changing climate.

Adaptation work

ACCAP works to improve the ability of Alaskans to respond to a changing climate.

Climate change is already impacting seasons, landscapes and life in the North. These changes affect the health, lives, and livelihoods of Alaskans as well as the companies doing business in Alaska.
