Antioch University New England
Overview
Antioch University New England (AUNE) is a dynamic, innovative institution offering scholarly, practice-oriented graduate study. Now in its forty-fifth year, AUNE serves 1,000 students and remains, by design, a small graduate school closely linked to the region, with national and global connections through its students, alumni, and institutional concerns. Antioch University New England is part of Antioch University, a five-campus university (Antioch University New England, in Keene, NH; Antioch University Midwest (formerly McGregor) in Yellow Springs, Ohio; Antioch University Seattle in Seattle, Washington; and Antioch University Los Angeles and Antioch University Santa Barbara in California).
AUNE Department of Environmental Studies: The Department of Environmental Studies educates visionary, pragmatic leaders in a collaborative interdisciplinary setting that is founded on academic excellence and the principles of environmental justice and sustainability.
We train effective local, national, and international environmental leaders working to create a sustainable society that embodies respect and care for the community of life, ecological integrity, social and economic justice, democracy, nonviolence, and peace. This vision inspires us to achieve excellence in our doctoral and master’s programs and collaborative community service.
