Overview

Waggonner & Ball Architects is a broad based architectural and planning firm with over 30 years of experience on a wide range of architectural and planning projects. Located in the historic Garden District of New Orleans, the firm has created award winning educational, retail, office, religious, government, and residential architecture, as well as planning and urban design projects.

Waggonner & Ball has also regularly designed institutional and municipal master plans, and was a key participant in the Unified New Orleans Plan for District 2 and the post-Katrina Recovery Plan for St. Bernard Parish. The firm is committed to design excellence and sustainable building practices, and was preceded by a series of firms before Mr. Ball joined Mr. Waggonner in 1989.

Waggonner & Ball's team provides complete architectural services including facility assessment, programming, site planning, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding and contract negotiation, construction administration, and post-occupancy evaluation. The firm also provides services for planning and urban design, as well as interior design, and collaborates with an established professional team of consultants in civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines, along with cost estimators and landscape architects, and other technical specialists.
