Don Antrobus

Climate Adaptation Consultant

Don Antrobus earned bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering and modern languages from the University of Notre Dame in 1986. In 2005, he completed a master’s degree in engineering management at the University of Alaska in Anchorage. Don started his public works career with a Peace Corps assignment in Nepal followed by 30 years as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Public Health Service (PHS). In the PHS, Don served as an engineering officer providing planning, design, construction, and operational services for sanitation facilities throughout the United States and in Guam; and providing technical support to Alaskan communities faced with environmental threats. After retiring from the Public Health Service in July 2020, Don joined the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) as a Climate Change Adaptation Program consultant.
