Rebecca Owens

Associate Planner, City of Lebanon, NH

Rebecca Owens, MBA, is Associate Planner for the City of Lebanon, NH. She has over 15 years of professional experience, including as Associate Planner for Bozeman, MT, Sustainability Program Manager for Xanterra Parks and Resorts in Yellowstone National Park, and as Sustainability Planner/LEED AP for Vanasse Hangen Brustlin, Inc., in Boston, MA. She has been a lead contributor to community and campus master plan updates/development/implementation and guideline development, including for sustainability best practices; greenhouse gas benchmarking; ped/bike connectivity; heritage/preservation planning; grant applications and management; portfolio/volume LEED certifications; and reporting frameworks and communications for CSR; among other endeavors. She holds a BA in Environmental Policy from Wellesley College, and MBA in Sustainability from Antioch University New England, where she helped to found the AUNE Center for Climate Preparedness and Community Resilience's annual Local Solutions conference with NOAA.
