Chicago Wilderness Prairie Adaptation - Workshop 3
The Field Museum, in collaboration with local and regional partners, is conducting a climate change adaptation planning process for prairies / grassland habitats throughout the Chicago Wilderness Region. In the third (and last!) in a series of three workshops, stakeholders throughout the region will come together and build upon feedback and research to choose appropriate climate change adaptation strategies and ways to refine these actions to habitats in our region. We will step through existing habitat assessments and vulnerability analyses, including social and cultural engagement considerations, and align this information with land management goals across the gradient of large, high-quality remnant prairies to small, created urban grasslands.
Even if you have not been involved before this workshop, there is much to learn and contribute. So please join us!
