Join the CGE for a webinar on methodology of estimating the costs of health and adaptation with the World Health Organization (WHO). During this 45 minute webinar you will:

  • Understand the main linkages between climate change and health as well as it economic dimension;
  • Appraise the policy relevance of health damage and adaptation costs, and how they can be used as arguments for public health prevention;
  • Learn the steps on estimating: a) the costs associated with damage to health due to climate change, b) the costs for adaptation in various sectors to protect health from climate change and c) the efficiency of adaptation measures, i.e. the cost of adaptation versus the expected returns, or averted health costs.

This will be followed by a  Question and Answer session.
