Richard Barker, Professor of Accounting at Saïd Business School, Oxford(https://www.sbs.ox.ac.uk/about-us/people/richard-barker) will be in San Francisco on 13 August and we are delighted to invite you to join him for a presentation and networking session on Measuring corporate performance in a world of climate change.

In today's society we give accounts of performance in order to be held to account. For the corporation, this is widely understood to mean an account of financial performance, and accountability to investors. But we face a climate change emergency, along with an unprecedented rate of biodiversity loss. Behind that destruction is economic growth, made possible by the corporate sector. In this changing world, to whom should the corporation be accountable, for what, and how?
