Recruiting for the 2026 cohort is open now! Download the informational flyer for a brief overview, or for a full description download this year’s RFP.
The Alaska Climate Adaptation Science Center began its Ambassadors Program in 2025. The goals of the program are to provide seed funding to support UA faculty to participate in actionable climate adaptation science and to grow the AK CASC network in Alaska. Three Ambassador projects are selected each year to receive $20,000 grants to conduct activities to support work related to climate adaptation and to engage in the AK CASC community.
Read more details about all three 2025 AK CASC Ambassador projects, and see photos of their work, in this story by AK CASC Science Communicator Christian Thorsberg.
