Climate Policy Planner (Planner IV) - State of Delaware, Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy
This position serves a leading role in Delaware's statewide response to climate change with a particular focus on climate adaptation. This position will support implementation of the state's Climate Action Plan, including support and training of state agency staff and engagement with communities and businesses. The position will have a focus on incorporating equity into climate solutions. This position will lead state-based workgroups and serve on multi-state workgroups to develop and implement policies and best practices. The position may also apply for and manage grant funding for implementation projects.
This position will work closely with a dynamic, driven, and fun team and will have significant autonomy and ability to set priorities.
Applicants who do not possess the preferred qualification will still be eligible to compete for this position if job requirements are met.
- Possession of a Bachelors Degree in Planning, Engineering, Life Science, Physical Science, Social Science, or related field.
Compensation & Benefits
