Climate Resiliency Program Coordinator - Pierce Conservation District

Nature & Purpose of the Position
This position coordinates the District's climate resiliency program and supports staff throughout the organization integrate climate resiliency messaging and programming into their ongoing work. Duties include leading the existing strategic plan climate resiliency initiatives, as well as providing oversight of the vision as an evolving program to best serve Pierce County. This role serves as a technical resource and researches, develops, plans, and implements projects associated with the climate resiliency program. The position will also coordinate the District’s Geographic Information System work across all programs. Care should be taken to act as a community partner to leverage success of the targets and community education.
