The CACE program provides technical assistance and capacity-building services to under-resourced communities to support climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. The CACE Program Associate will work with program awardees, contractors, and State agencies to ensure successful implementation and evaluation of Regional Climate Collaborative (RCC) awards and technical assistance contracts.
Under the general direction of the SGC Deputy Director for Equity and Government Transformation and the day-to-day supervision of the CACE Program Manager, the CACE Program Associate works with program awardees, contractors, and State agencies to ensure successful implementation and evaluation of RCC awards and TA contracts. The Community Assistance for Climate Equity Program Associate will support the Program Analyst, Senior Program Analyst, and the Program Manager and be the primary liaison to SGC’s administrative team. The incumbent must have a commitment to serving California’s diverse communities and creating a work environment that celebrates diverse backgrounds, cultures, and personal experiences. The incumbent must have an ability to travel up to 15% of the time and occasionally work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
