A significant focus of this position will be one of our major sponsored projects, the Center for Oldest Ice Exploration (COLDEX), a multi-institution collaboration seeking to locate and recover the oldest ice in Antarctica spanning back at least 1.5 million years in an effort to improve our understanding of Earth’s climate system.

We’re looking for a creative self-starter who is passionate about digital storytelling, social media, and creative climate science communication to help us craft and implement a digital content strategy for this work. We see this position as essential in our drive to grow and engage local and national audiences, connecting them with critical climate information and stories. This position will also help craft ongoing communications materials for COLDEX and MCAP.
