The Leadership Training and Events Summer Research Assistant supports the development and implementation of the Institute’s leadership training and events for these programs:
- IonE Graduate Programs These are a wide range of interdisciplinary programs, training and events that help graduate, professional students, and postdocs on the UMN Twin Cities, Duluth and Rochester campuses play a critical role in creating a sustainable future for Minnesota and the world.
- Acara A leadership incubator program for students interested in designing and implementing viable solutions to social and environmental problems.
- Sustainability Corps and the Ecolab Scholars programs, both of which provide training and reflection opportunities for recipients of an Ecolab Experiential Education Scholarship These scholarships support undergraduates with financial need and an interest in sustainability to participate in unpaid internships, learning abroad courses or to lead their own student-initiated project.
