The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) believes that in order to save wildlife and ourselves, we need to ensure that all Americans have access to clean air and water, safe communities, easy and equitable access to nature, and protection from the ravages of climate change. These basic needs, equally necessary and urgent for all people, are foundational to bringing the conservation movement and ethos into the 21st century. We also believe that to achieve this vision, we must become an organization that actively challenges systemic racism and oppression. We are embarking on this journey and deepening our anti-racism work. The Manager of Equity and Justice Learning will join our team and support NWF to become a truly inclusive and anti-racist conservation organization and continue to build, expand, and deepen our Equity and Justice work.
This position sits on the Equity and Justice Team in the Office of the President working out of our office in Reston, VA or one of our regional centers across the country; (Washington DC; Seattle, Washington; Denver, Colorado; Missoula, Montana; Austin, Texas; Annapolis, Maryland; Ann Arbor, Michigan; Montpelier, Vermont.) (Due to COVID-19 all employees are working remotely until we make return to work decisions).
In collaboration with the Equity and Justice team, the Manager of Equity and Justice Learning will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the Equity and Justice Strategic Plan, furthering activities that drive culture change, and designing and delivering learning modules.
