The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Species Recovery Grants to Tribes support Tribally-led management, research, monitoring, and outreach activities that have direct conservation benefits for listed species under the Endangered Species Act. Federally-recognized Tribes and organizations of federally-recognized Tribes that have delegated authority to represent a federally recognized Tribe on matters relating to Endangered Species Act listed, candidate, or proposed species may apply. Applications are due by October 29. 

Species Recovery Grants to Tribes support tribally-led management, research, monitoring, and outreach activities that have direct conservation benefits for listed species under the Endangered Species Act. Recently delisted species, proposed, and candidate species are also eligible.

Proposals focusing on listed Pacific salmon or steelhead are not considered under this grant program but may be supported through the Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Fund.
