Project Specialist - The East-West Center

The East-West Center is accepting applications for a two-year limited position as a Project Specialist in the Research Program. The Project Specialist will coordinate and help support a project in collaboration with the Hawaii’s Green Growth Local2030 Hub (HGG) to identify locally relevant climate and sustainability indicators and metrics in specific US-Affiliated Pacific Islands and support the creation of an integrated and open-data online Sustainability Dashboard. The Project Specialist will work closely with researchers in the Pacific Regional Integrated Sciences & Assessments (RISA) program and the Pacific Islands Regional Climate Assessment (PIRCA), implementing partners in HGG, and a network of regional stakeholders on the project. The project will build regional capacity in the ability to track adaptation goals and support applications for adaptation funding and pilot the transferability of the Aloha+ Dashboard model across non-Hawaiian Pacific Islands.

Salary:  $60,159 per year which includes a cost-of-living allowance (COLA) currently at 10.28% (subject to change) and an attractive benefits package.
