Abstract

The San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission, along with a consortium of leading Dutch researchers and consultants, which are part of the Delta Alliance, conducted a joint study on the impact of sea level rise on the San Francisco Bay. The results of the study and adaptation measures for shoreline development were presented at a symposium on September 21, 2009. At the symposium new ideas for future cooperation in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, the San Francisco Bay of California, and the Delta in the Netherlands were also explored.
