NOAA is an agency that enriches life through science. Our reach goes from the surface of the sun to the depths of the ocean floor as we work to keep citizens informed of the changing environment around them. From daily weather forecasts, severe storm warnings and climate monitoring to fisheries management, coastal restoration and supporting marine commerce, NOAA’s products and services support economic vitality and affect more than one-third of America’s gross domestic product.

North Atlantic LCC partners work together to identify common science needs, shared scientific capacity, and information and coordinate natural resource conservation actions across the region. The North Atlantic LCC is part of a network of 22 Landscape Conservation Cooperatives, which was launched in 2009 by the U.S. Department of the Interior, primarily through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and U.S.

The Environmental Protection Agency has ten Regional offices, each of which is responsible for the execution of the Agency's programs within several states and territories.
